 Apart from the academic position at RUET,  currently I am a PhD Researcher at the Thompson School of Social Work & Public Health at the University of Hawaiʻi Mānoa and an East-West Center Graduate Degree Fellow. I earned my BSS in Social Welfare and two Master’s degrees in Social Welfare and Gerontology, all from the University of Dhaka. My research interests are aging, public health, community development, human rights and policy practice. I have a combination of 8 years experience in teaching, research and community development and dedicated to use academic research to improve the living conditions of the older adults in Bangladesh.
