Assistant Professor
Md Firoz Mahmud was born in Jashore, Bangladesh, in 1996. He received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), Rajshahi, Bangladesh, in 2018, and the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, Huntsville, AL, USA, in 2025. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering at Washington State University, Pullman, WA, USA.
From March to November 2019, he was a Lecturer with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, North Bengal International University, Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He joined RUET as a Lecturer in November 2019 and has been an Assistant Professor with its Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering since July 2022.
Mr. Mahmud received the EEE Association Award (Student of the Year) from RUET in recognition of his academic performance in the third-year examinations.
